Richard E. Larsen

Founder, Shareholder, CEO

Richard Larsen is the CEO and founding shareholder of Larsen Slaten, PLLC.

He received his Bachelor of Science degree from Purdue University in 1983 and his Juris Doctorate from the Chicago-Kent College of Law in 1987. Richard Larsen has been a member of the Illinois Bar since 1987 and the Florida Bar since 1989. He is also admitted to practice before the United States District Courts for the Middle District of Florida and the Northern District of Illinois.

 

Mr. Larsen has extensive legal experience in community association law, as well as real property, construction, corporate and commercial law and related litigation. He is active in the community association arena both locally and statewide and has served as Board Member and past President of the Community Association Institute (“CAI”), Mid-Florida Chapter.

 

As a frequent lecturer and author, Richard Larsen has had the opportunity to provide education on Community Association legal topics to association board members and managers. He has also received the highest rating from Martindale-Hubbell, AV Preeminent.

 

As of June 1, 2018, Mr. Larsen is a member of the "inaugural class" of Florida Attorneys awarded Board Certification as a Condominium and Planned Development Attorney.
