On Friday, March 22, 2019, Larsen, along with their sister firm: The Collection Law Firm (TCLF), made a trip Around the World at CAI Florida's annual trade show: CA Day. The trade show was held at the beautiful resort Gaylord Palms in Kissimmee, Florida and featured a plethora of exhibitors within the community association industry, each presenting their goods and services in a geographic-related fashion.
Tying in with the theme of travel and multicultural destinations, Larsen and TCLF decorated booth 92 with scenes of Sri Lanka; a quaint island located southeast of peninsular India. Their booth was equipped to the brim with authentic Sri Lankan artifacts, textiles, and attire. Furthermore, a slideshow presentation played featuring pictures and videos of the country taken personally by Business Development Director, Mark King.
Considering that Larsen's Chief Operating Officer is originally Sri Lankan, featuring Sri Lanka felt like a natural decision by the marketing team. "During my time living in the United States, it seems those who have heard of the country Sri Lanka are few and far between. We have always been heavily focused on educating and empowering, so we thought CA Day 2019, with the theme of Around the World, would be a fantastic opportunity to continue this focus; featuring and educating people about my home country." -Florence King, Chief Operating Officer
In addition to exhibiting at the trade show, Larsen also sponsored CA Day as a classroom presenter. Founder, CEO, and Board Certified Attorney Richard Larsen taught a board certification course to a group of nearly 200 board members and community association managers; quite possibly the largest of its kind!
Larsen and The Collection Law Firm's team had a blast teaching and exhibiting at CAI's annual trade show in central Florida. The opportunity to meet, enrich, and empower so many individuals within the industry is one that the firm relishes. It remains a core pillar of Larsen & Associates to serve board members and community association managers with the tools they need in order for their association to thrive and flourish, and they did just that Around the World 2019.
